Why Studing Accounting at Philadelphia University |
The Bachelor program of Accounting at Philadelphia is characterized by:
- 20% of the courses materials are covered in computer labs.
- A balance emphasis on theory and practice, and its graduates are competitive with other graduates of other universities in Jordan.
- The recruitment of qualified members from different neighboring areas (Egypt, Iraq and Syria) of adequate years of experience in the accounting environment. In addition to their theoretical aspects of Accounting, they also engaged in various off campus consultation activities.
Their multiple perspectives, talents, and area of expertise are brought to empower the Program in setting goals; establishing policies; solving problems; and, carrying out projects or activities results in superior products. This will help the students to implement their knowledge in the accounting fields directly.
- The Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences participates hardly in preparing four online courses, for the Avicenna Virtual University. One of these courses is (Accounting Information Systems) .
- All of the 3rd and 4th level students are engaged in theoretical and practical lectures curried out by guests and visit speakers from industry and accounting firm. Guests are encouraged to present up to date information about the recruitment procedures; the typical work tasks that should be done by who are seeking for employment.
- Five Business incubators are available at the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences to provide assistance for prospective or existing small business owners. These incubators help students to prosper, create and retain jobs, and also increase economic opportunities for communities and populations in need.
- Diversification in teaching styles (Arabic/English) stimulating the students and providing direction and strategies to facilitate the introduction of viable and successful changes.
