Welcome to the Banking & Finance Department at Philadelphia University.

We are committed to maintaining our heritage of academic quality while providing our graduate with the skills they need to succeed in the ever-changing Banking & Finance climate.

The Banking & Finance Department is one of the largest Banking & Finance Departments in Jordan. It has over sixteen teaching and support staff and over 770 students. It has a growing reputation for courses at the interface of information technology within business and Banking & Finance.

The Department offers a full range of courses in the Day-time and Evening programs. It emphasizes all issues related to employment in the Banking & Finance profession; great emphasis is also placed on the acquisition of skills (generic and specific) with the aim of maximizing the high quality of employment.

We are increasing the emphasis on areas such as auditing; taxation, financial analysis, information systems, management and policy. We believe these changes will provide our students with the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience prior to graduation.

The Department employs highly qualified academic staff and focusing on teamwork, technology and case studies in enhancing student learning.
