The Center aims at utilization of the University capacities in lingual fields, development of the university students' linguistic abilities and skills, holding training courses and conducting studies and researches in language development. Following are the tasks performed by the university
- Preparation of the University requirements in linguistic skills.
- Teaching any languages wherever it is possible to get duly qualified teachers therein such as French, Hebrew, etc.
- Teaching Arabic for non-native speakers.
- Holding symposiums, conferences and training courses related to the language and teaching methods thereof.
- Conducting researches and studies for development of language skills, teaching methods thereof, and building teaching programs and packages in teaching languages.
