First: The application is subject to the following conditions:
- The student must meet all of the university and faculty conditions
- The student must be transferred from an accredited university
Second: The Admission and Registration Department passes the transfer applications to the relevant Deans of faculties who will consider the number of credit hours taken at the previous university, in comparison with the plans at Philadelphia University. The Dean can consider a maximum of50% of the faculty study plan; although in some particular cases the University President can consider a maximum 75%of the faculty study plan. Then the Admission and Registration Department is informed.
Third: The modules studied at the other universities are not considered in the student's accumulative average at Philadelphia University.
Forth: The student looses one semester from the maximum duration for graduation, for each 12 credit hours taken at another university.
Fifth: The Admission and Registration Department gives the transfer applications to the Dean of the faculty of law to consider the number of credit hours according to the faculty plan. The Dean can consider a maximum 50% of the faculty study plan and in some particular cases, the University President can consider a maximum 75% of the faculty plan.
The transferred student must produce the following documents:
- Tawjihi certificate or its equivalent (Arabic-English)
- Copy of Birth certificate and passport or identity card
- Two personal photos (4+6)
- list of grades from the previous university, accredited from the Ministry of Higher Education
- Clearance from the previous university
- Good conduct certificate from the previous university
- Course descriptions from the previous university
- The student must have attended the previous university correspondence modules will not be accepted.
- Not more than seven years must have elapsed since the student left the previous university.
