This program provides opportunities for high school graduates and for nurses with an Associate Degree in nursing to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The Faculty of Nursing was founded in 2004/2005 and has granted the degree to more than 600 graduates who have successfully moved into the nursing workforce. Our graduates are found in a variety of health care settings, the community, and the academic institutions in Jordan, the neighboring countries, and the world at large.
The Faculty of Nursing strives to equip nursing students with theoretical and “hands-on” learning through offering up-to-date knowledge in classrooms and clinical experiences in hospitals, primary health care settings, and schools. Community service activities are encouraged to provide students with a sense of continuity of care across all age groups, the different care levels, and the various socioeconomic groups and settings. The undergraduate program is among the most academically rigorous on campus and has a notable reputation for preparing quality graduates with a solid foundation for graduate school.
