Deanship of Graduate Studies

Universities are essential institutions for the development of nations because they provide the knowledge that is used to enlighten the nation and prosper its economy.

Philadelphia University (PU) is committed to research and development and applies itself to promote, support and develop its graduate programs

A Graduate Studies Council was formed in 1995 to establish graduate program regulations and guidelines. Due to the increased interest in graduate programs, the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies (SR-GS) was established in 2001.

In 2005, PU launched two masters programs: Computer Science and English Literature. In 2013, two more programs were launched: Mechatronics Engineering and Arabic Literature.  All four programs have gained much interest by the students. PU is committed to allocating all the required resources to maintain and always improve the excellence level of these programs.
