The mission of Computer Information Systems (CIS) department is derived from the overall IT faculty and University mission.
The department of Computer Information Systems (CIS) is concerned with the theory, design, development and application of computer systems and information processing techniques. The mission of the CIS department is to educate undergraduates in the fundamental concepts of the computing disciplines, to create and disseminate computing knowledge and technology, and to use their expertise to solve society problems. Hence, the education at the department prepares students to fill any post with credit, and to master any subject with empowering standard for lifelong learning and professional success.
