The Quality of Teaching has become the primary goal of the University after its participation in the external review process. Computer Science programme was the first programme to practice the external reviewing for its quality of teaching through its participation in the Hussein Fund for Excellence prize that employs the British Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education as external reviewer. Our programme was the first among other ten private and public universities. This result encourages the University, in general, and Faculty of Information Technology, in particular, to work seriously on the development of the quality of all their departments by modifying the quality-based polices and procedures or issuing new ones as they relate to teaching and learning. Constructive student feedback is essential to the effective operation of these procedures, which provide course organizers with information, which is necessary to improve the effective delivery of courses, thereby enhancing continually, the quality of the University's educational provision for all students. Employers of different organisations actively target our students recognising that Philadelphia Computer Science graduates are equipped with the skills that enable them to excel in a whole host of positions. |
