Abstract  The article discusses the emergence of the Central American-American discursive and performance poetic art EpiCentro that has been present in the U.S. since the mid-1980s. It analyzes three of the poems in the EpiCentro anthology by Gustavo Guerra V?squez, Karina Alvarado and Marlon Morales.
