Training Workshop
December 3-5, 2017

The Workshop aims to train students who are interested in identifying the genetic causes of Mendelian diseases using the Next Generation Sequencing.

Clinicans and Scientists from Germany, United States and Jordan will be lecturing in the workshop.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

2. NGS/WES

3. Functional Analysis

a‌. Using models of living organisms

b. CRISPR-CAS9 concept

Terms of Participation

- The workshop is specific to PhD, Master or Bachelor students who are currently registered at one of the Jordanian Universities in medical, biological or biotechnological field.
- BSc students must be expected to graduate in the first semester of the academic year 2017/2018 and with GPA rate not less than a Good.
- Doctoral and Master’s students should have a GPA rate not less than very good grade and and who did not yet specified their thesis proposal.

Fees

50 JDs to cover the dailycoffee break and lunch.

Note: those who cannot pay the fees can be exempted

Deadline for receiving the Registration is Tuesday, November 15th, 2017
