Ahmad Al-Bashaireh received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2018. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in 1998 and a Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences/ Clinical Biochemistry in 2001 from Jordan University of Science and Technology. He has 26 years of diverse experience in academic and clinical fields. In the clinical field, he worked for 3 years as a Registered Nurse in Adult and Pediatric Critical Care Units, 3 years as a Clinical Instructor for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and 4 years as a Nurse Educator in Children's Hospitals. Furthermore, Ahmad also has 3 years of experience as a Quality Improvement Coordinator and Manager for the Nursing Education Department. In addition to his clinical experience, Ahmad has 10 years of experience as a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Medicine and Applied Sciences at Jordan University of Science and Technology and in the College of Nursing at the University of Florida, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and the Higher Colleges of Technology. Currently, Ahmad is assigned as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Philadelphia University, Amman, Jordan. His motivation, leadership, and blended experience in clinical, laboratory, and academic settings contribute to his ability to advance the fields of nursing, acute care, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases, smoking, and tobacco research.

Doctor Al-Bashaireh has more than 40 scientific publications in highly indexed journals with more than 1,760 citations, and he has experience supervising research projects/theses for bachelor's and master's students.
