Instructional Design for Online Learning:

Theory and Practical Considerations

Course Description

 The course illustrates the technologies used for distance learning and considers their best application for creating online training materials. It tackles the implications of technology options, course descriptions, design and structure, evaluation, copyright and intellectual property, and technical support. The course integrates the pedagogical aspects with technical ones. All presentations will combine oral-aural approach and the practical approach.

Aims:

 Upon completion of the course, participants will gain skills to:

-         Understand the technologies available to develop online learning.

-         Decide which technologies to use for different learning objectives.

-         Be able to create online learning materials for their universities or schools that incorporate effective assessment and consider copyright and intellectual property requirements.

       - Interactivity.

        -  Practical Training Using a Platform.
