1- Multiphase flow simulations using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

Application experiance:

In 2007 and 2009, I have worked on the complex phenomona of heat transfer and oil-air film modeling in the bearing champer of trent jet engin in Kalsruhe/Germany(2007) and Dusseldorf/Germany (2009), the project is still on untill now and hopfully soon will have publications out of it.

From 2002-2005 I have simulated drug flow inside human ventricular system using both experimentation and numerical techniques.

2-Simulation of microflow devices

Application experiance:

Micro-flow devices are attracting an increasing attention currently. I have done a micro-flow heat exchanger CFD study with a group of researchers using Fluent code 6.3, and thankfully we managed to have a good publication out of that, which are listed in the publication page. Bessides this last summer 2010 I have done CFD simulation of micro-flow meters in Dusseldorf/Germany, publication is in its way.

4-Biomedical problems including bio-fluids simulation and heat transfer in human body.

Application experiance:

My thesis in the Ph.D was on Cerebrospinal fluid simulation inside the human ventricular system and drug delivery to the central nervouse system, which had been done experimentally and numerically using CFD code.

6- None invasive flow visualisation techniques and micro fluidic visualization techniques.

I am familiar with particle imaging velocimetry (PIV) and Laser Doppler Anemometry (LDA) visualization techniques, which I have used as part of my PhD study
