The language course.

Institute gives courses in the Chinese language in three trim levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). Institute holds Chinese language courses to students in the local community in Amman, Abu Haj Complex, flexible programs that meet the needs of students.

There are courses for social students. Courses for social students are carried out in Abu El Haj building, the class time of which is flexible to cater for the needs of the students. Courses for the University students are held in Philadelphia University, class time of which is fixed.

Timetable for the social students.

Morning Classes: Monday through Wendesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Evening Classes: Monday through Wendesday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.


The Taiji Course.

This session will help build physical and mental health of students and consists of two periods:

First Period (program Baduanjin) includes 8 hours (2 hours per week, 4 weeks). This session is designed to combat body building exercise will help students to get rid of back pain, loin, shoulder and other pain in various parts of the body. The students will also help to maintain health wellness. And this session will be held in conjunction with the Chinese language course in mid-December. And students must come to the Institute to the exercise Kong Fou twice a week, each lasting one hour. And needs to learn the Baduanjin to ten hours of training, compared to only 20 JDs. After that students can practice the sport with new students in the Institute for free.

Second period includes a 16-hour Taiji program (2 hours each week, 16 weeks).


HSK.

The National Chinese proficiency Test is called Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK). It is divided into six levels. The learner studies Chinese vocabulary, writing, reading and speaking. Learners who want to apply for a scholarship to study in China need to participate in HSK.


Scholarship.

The National Scholarship: Learners in the Institute, after passing HSK, may have the opportunity to win this scholarship. The scholarship winner can apply any university and any major in China. The application of degree ranges from the Bachelor’s degree to the Doctor’s degree. There is only one such scholarship in the Institute each year.

The Confucius Institute Scholarship: Learners, after passing HSK, may have the opportunity to win this scholarship. The scholarship winner can apply for a half-year or one-year or two-year scholarship to study Chinese and the Chinese culture in Liaocheng University. To win the two-year scholarship, learners need to pass HSK5; to win the one-year scholarship, learners need to pass HSK3; to win the half-year scholarship, learners need to pass HSK2.
