Abstract: The study discusses the behavioral, social, philosophical, and political aspects of freedom, dealing with moral problems the Arab world is facing nowadays. It identifies the level of freedoms in Jordan from Jordanian university students’ perspective. The study discussed (freedom) in terms of specialization, identifying the level of freedoms in Jordan in various areas.
The study reflected on the level of freedoms in Jordan in different areas, quantitatively and qualitatively. It concluded that citizens must strive for freedom, to be the source of authorities, so that to establish freedom and democracy in Jordan, federal coalition principle must be practiced. It is recommended to focus on teaching principles of freedom and respect for law and human rights.

Abstract: The study proposes an educational strategy to promote the concepts of political participation among graduate students of faculties of arts and education in Jordanian universities. Political participation is proven to be the result of socio-economic, cognitive, political and moral factors that differ according to Arab Jordanian culture. The study ends in proposing ways to activate political participation of youth in Jordan, pointing out ways to implement the educational strategy, mainly through reform in education to promote political participation, through promoting political youth initiatives, in addition to supporting government policies in Jordan to promote youth political participation.

Research Title: Moral Values and Cultural Development in the Arab World: An Analytical Study on Religion and Language,

Abstract: The study reveals the relationship between moral values as an ethical system adopted by the Arab mind and the intellectual cultural development in the Arab world. The study also presented analytically the correlation between moral values adopted by the Arab mind and linguistics, relating it to development in the Arab world. The Arab development situation is studied from the perspective of Arab thinkers who used the linguistic analytical approach to understand the Arab mind, in an attempt to realize Arabs’ moral philosophy as compared to Western intellectual perspective. The study discussed cultural development from a three dimensional perspective (philosophic-ethicallinguistic).Arabs encountered an unprecedented state of chaos and violence, because of their thoughts and therefore moral values adopted. The study concluded that moral values as adopted by Arabs are mainly affected by their language usage, reflecting the intellectual status of the Arab mind, and therefore affecting cultural development of the Arab world.

Abstract: This study aimed at questioning the ability of Arabic language to assimilate the different cultures facing the cultural challenges due to globalization and clash of civilizations. The study examined the ability of Arabic language to cope with global developments and cultural changes. The researchers adopted the historical, inductive and deductive methodologies. The study concluded that Arabic language curricula should be directed towards focusing on communication functions in order to promote Arabic language to be capable of dealing with contemporary and practical cultural and developmental problems.

Abstract: This study aimed at exploring the role of social media in developing social responsibility and political awareness of the Jordanian youth, where the researcher adopted the descriptive analytical methodology, by developing a specific questionnaire as a study tool. The study sample consisted of (200) students from Philadelphia University with all education levels for the academic years (2016-2017). The results showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (? = 0.05) of the role of social media in developing social responsibility and political awareness of the Jordanian youth.

Research Title: Character traits of International students in Jordanian universities as affected by economic and political status of their original countries

Abstract: The study aimed to reveal the personality traits of international students in Jordanian universities as affected by both the economic and political factors. The study sample consisted of (410) foreign students in Jordanian universities, representing males (208) and females (202).The results of the study showed that the personal characteristics of international students are mainly affected by both economic and political status of their original countries. The study showed that the most affecting factor is the economic rather than the political. The students traits were also divided in four categories or levels: The (Social) level was highest, the (emotional level) was the second in rank. The (cognitive level) ranked in the third level. And finally ranked the (cultural level). There were also differences between the average grade of individuals on the scale of personality traits and in each of its areas according to the level of education variable. The results of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences in personality characteristics according to the level of education variable in the field of knowledge and were in favor of the master while there were differences of statistical significance attributed to gender

Research Title: Attitudes Of Jordanian University Students Towards The Concept Of Political Participation

Abstract: This study, through special measurement tools, explores the attitude of Jordanian university students towards political participation. The study sample consisted of 1620 students who were selected randomly from two Jordanian universities, Jordan University and Philadelphia University. The study recommends that reform and clear amendments should be considered when introducing concepts of political participation in terms of curricula in all levels of civic and national education university courses. Civic, national, and political courses should be presented as essential requisites for graduates regardless of students' faculties. University students should be engaged in activities and workshops to raise their awareness of political concepts so as to promote their political participation regardless of gender and demographic differences. Professors should be involved in workshops for applying better methodologies in teaching political concepts through the different courses regardless of the students' faculties, specialties or level of education.

Research Title: The Level of Political Reform Awareness in Jordan from the Perspective of Jordanian Political Parties' General Secretaries

Abstract: The study aimed at determining the level of awareness of the general secretaries of the Jordanian political parties' to the concept of political reform. The study sample consisted of (18) secretary-generals of different Jordanian political parties, thereby, a questionnaire was designed for this purpose, consisting of two dimensions; first: the concept and the implications of political reform with (20) paragraphs, second: the political parties with (26) paragraphs. The results showed that the level of awareness of the general secretaries of the Jordanian political parties to the concept of political reform was positive, with the arithmetic mean of (4.21) to the concept of political reform dimension and (3.98) to the political parties dimension, these results represent a high degree of orientation towards the degree of awareness of thegeneral secretaries of the political parties towards political reform. The study showed the presences of statistical significant differences to the variables: gender, age, income and educational level, and the study also showed no statistically significant differences attributable to the variables: duration of membership in the party, the duration of a secretary general of the party or type of the political party. In light of the findings, the study recommended to conduct more studies, workshops and conferences on the subject matter to consolidate political awareness among the greatest number of citizens, members and leaders of the parties to the concept of political reform.

Research Title: Parents, Teachers and School Administration Degree of Acceptance for the Parental Kindergarten Participation Program and its Impact on the Educational Learning process : Jordanian Sample

Abstract: This study aimed at examining the effectiveness of parental participation program in a Jordanian sample, and to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of 62 paragraph distributed on five dimensions were built, adopted after its appropriate validity and reliability evidences, 157 members as the study sample were subjected to the study tool, distributed as follows: 117 volunteer (parents), 13 headmistresses, and 27 kindergarten teacher, with a ratio of 30% of the study population. According to the study results, the study established a set of recommendations for the attention necessity of the educational institutions to increase their interest in this age group through programs that will enhance the relationship between the kindergarten and the local community for its effectiveness in the development of the educational and learning processe.

Research Title: Youth Associations’ Role in National education and Extremist Intellectual Behaviour: Jordanian youth

Abstract: This study aimed at identifying the role of Jordanian youth associations in spreading the national education and its relation to the tendency towards extremist intellectual behavior among a sample of Jordanian university students. The study population consists of (504) undergraduate students in the Jordanian universities, namely: Jordan University, Yarmouk University, Philadelphia University, and Al-Ahliyya Amman University. They were chosen in a deliberate manner. And have participations in activities organized by students' affairs deans in their universities. The reliability and validity of the study tool were verified. The results of the study showed that the role of the Jordanian youth associations in spreading the national education came within the intermediate level. The results also showed no statistically significant differences in the role of the Jordanian youth associations in spreading the national education according to the gender variable and the place of residence. There was also a strong correlation between the level of national education and the tendency towards intellectual extremism among Jordanian university students.
