The unit reports to senior university management while maintaining professional independence and objectivity.
Supporting senior management, protecting university assets, improving institutional performance.
Includes all financial and administrative activities according to the internal audit plan.
Conducting audits, monitoring implementation, documenting results, and providing recommendations.
Reviewing policies, detecting gaps, providing recommendations to improve performance.
Internal regulations, approved policies, financial and administrative plans.
Access to information and records, requesting clarifications from units.
Coordination with external parties through university administration, maintaining professional confidentiality.
Preparing and submitting quarterly and annual reports including observations and recommendations
Implementing audits on financial and administrative activities according to a specific plan
Coverage of all units to ensure transparency and enhance governance
Supporting improvement of internal control environment and reducing operational and financial risks
Enable university management to exercise effective oversight and monitoring of activities and ensure compliance with policies and instructions.
Ensure the implementation of university plans and policies according to approved standards.
Audit and monitor procedures and systems to protect university assets.
Develop financial and administrative procedures and improve performance and productivity.
Detect gaps in internal control systems and provide corrective recommendations.
Support senior management in planning, decision-making, and policy formulation.
Verify the integrity of financial procedures and address non-compliance cases.
The unit relies on a comprehensive and systematic strategy for auditing financial and administrative activities, based on preparing and implementing an annual internal audit plan built on risk assessment and institutional work priorities, with the aim of:
Supporting senior management in effective supervision and monitoring of activities.
Ensuring compliance with approved policies, regulations, and instructions.
Enhancing process efficiency and improving institutional performance quality.
Protecting university assets and reducing risks.
Providing constructive recommendations to improve procedures and enhance internal control.

About the Faculty
The Faculty of Information Technology aims to graduate specialized personnel equipped with the knowledge and skills required to keep pace with the continuous development in information technology, which has become an active player in our daily lives. Advanced societies face rapid changes in software production, which is considered an important means of social activity in various areas of life, and the increasing demand for producing or updating software has become a requirement for public and private sector institutions to reduce the digital divide.
The Faculty of Information Technology was established in the academic year (2000-2001) with three academic departments to meet the needs of the local and global labor market, and the study plans were carefully prepared to achieve a high scientific level.

Bachelor's Program Objectives
Training students to serve public and private sector institutions.
Providing the necessary national workforce needs in the field of information technology management.
Supporting scientific research in information technology fields that contribute to the development of administrative scientific studies.
Providing consulting services to governmental and non-governmental institutions through studying applications used to solve complex problems.
Preparing students after graduation to face difficulties within the scope of work and specialization.
Industry Engagement
The faculty sought to achieve close interaction with industry and international experts by holding refereed international conferences and opening up to industrial facilities in the Kingdom through conducting a number of visits to specialized institutions to enable faculty students to link theoretical aspects with practical ones. The faculty believes that such visits contribute to creating opportunities for graduates to get acquainted with the labor market and integrate into it. Regarding providing the teaching staff with qualified members, the faculty provides scholarship opportunities for distinguished graduates to prestigious international universities to obtain a doctorate degree in the fields that the faculty needs.
Graduate Achievements
Students who graduated from the faculty hold prestigious positions in departments and institutions concerned with developing information technology inside and outside the Kingdom. It must be noted that the faculty has obtained first place among the Kingdom's faculties in information technology, where it received the King Hussein Award for Excellence.
