About the Faculty
The Faculty of Information Technology aims to graduate specialized cadres equipped with the knowledge and skills required to keep pace with the continuous development in information technology, which has become an active player in our daily lives. Advanced societies face rapid changes in software production, which is considered an important means of social activity in various areas of life. The increasing demand for software production or updates has become a requirement for both public and private sector institutions to reduce the digital divide.
The Faculty of Information Technology was established in the academic year (2000-2001) with three academic departments to meet the needs of the local and global labor market. The academic plans were carefully prepared to achieve a high scientific level.

Bachelor's Program Objectives
Training students to serve public and private sector institutions.
Providing the necessary national workforce needs in the field of information technology and management.
Supporting scientific research in the fields of information technology that contribute to the development of administrative scientific studies.
Providing consulting services to governmental and non-governmental institutions through studying applications used to solve complex problems.
Preparing students after graduation to face difficulties within the scope of work and specialization.
Industry Engagement
The Faculty has sought to achieve close interaction with industry and international experts by holding refereed international conferences and opening up to industrial facilities in the Kingdom through conducting several visits to specialized institutions to enable the Faculty's students to link theoretical aspects with practical ones. The Faculty believes that such visits contribute to creating opportunities for graduates to learn about the labor market and integrate into it. As for providing the teaching staff with qualified members, the Faculty provides scholarship opportunities for distinguished graduates to prestigious international universities to obtain a doctorate degree in fields that the Faculty needs.
Graduate Achievements
Students who graduated from the Faculty hold prestigious positions in departments and institutions concerned with the development of information technology inside and outside the Kingdom. It should be noted that the Faculty has achieved first place among the Kingdom's faculties in information technology, receiving the King Hussein Award for Excellence.
