Three graduation projects from Philadelphia University have qualified for the final stage of the Hussein Fund for Excellence Projects competition in Jordanian universities, “Intilaq,” across the fields of environmental sustainability and information and communication technology.

This achievement comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support innovation and strengthen the connection between academic projects and the needs of the market and society, contributing to the development of practical solutions in vital sectors.

In the field of environmental sustainability, two projects from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology qualified. The first is titled “Cooling Solar Panels Using Hybrid Nanofluids,” which aims to enhance the efficiency of renewable energy systems through advanced cooling techniques. The second project focuses on “The Optimal Use of Jordanian Oil Shale Ash as a Partial Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Replacement for Cement Used in Concrete Production,” contributing to reducing the environmental impact of the construction industry and utilizing local resources.

In the Information and Communication Technology category, the project “Emergency Communication System for Natural Disasters and Wars” qualified. It aims to provide reliable communication channels during crises to ensure rapid response and rescue operations.

Philadelphia University expressed its pride in this achievement, emphasizing that reaching the final stage of this prestigious national competition reflects the competence of its students, the efforts of faculty members, and the university’s supportive environment for research and innovation.
