The University will work towards realizing financial self sufficiency and developing it by providing the following additional resources:

• Endowments in support of research and support of needy and outstanding students.
• Financial funds through partnership with the private sector.
• Establishing academic chairs funded by external resources.
• Supporting productive research projects and making use of their financial returns in the support of the University’s academic progress.
• Encouraging researchers to obtain patents and enacting necessary legislations that may provide for joint benefit from their revenue.
• Investing some of the University resources in feasible projects and funds.
• Increasing tuition fees non-Jordanian students pay.
• Designing electronic academic programs and marketing them locally and regionally so that they become self financed, and at a later stage, such programs will be of economic utility.
