Philadelphia University Awards
Vision
To make the University's Awards, open to all Jordanians, one of the main drivers of creativity in the fields of authorship, translation, arts, invention, renewable energy, and computer software.
Mission
- To evaluate and appreciate creative works and achievements in different award categories and encourage youth especially to engage in creative work at an early stage.
- To promote interaction between creators, academics, business owners, and intellectuals so that creativity and excellence become part of community culture and thought with special attention from public and private institutions.
Philadelphia University establishes annual awards for authors, translators, inventors, programmers, and researchers.
📋 Award Application Requirements
- The submitted work must not have received this award during the last five years
- The applicant must be a Jordanian citizen or in partnership with another person
- The submitted works for the award must not have previously won an award
✍️ How to Apply for the Award
- Complete the participation form with the author's CV, personal photo, and two copies of the work and submit it to the International Relations Department at the University Presidency.
- Award applications are accepted until the end of the year.
⚖️ Work Evaluation Process
- Award matters are overseen by a permanent committee of five members from inside and outside the university with a three-year term renewable by the University President.
- Committee members meet to review the forms and provide their opinions on the submitted works.
- Experts and specialists from various institutions and universities are consulted to provide accurate evaluation of the works.
- Evaluation is conducted according to special criteria for each award individually.

All awards focus on the authenticity of the work, its creativity, and its distinction from similar works
Note: Literary works (poetry, short stories, novels) are excluded from the awards due to the existence of many awards in this field.
Award Achievements
Over the past years, more than 60 creators in social sciences, applied sciences, engineering, agriculture, arts, inventions, computer software, translated books, and more have won these awards.
