Healthcare System Inside the Health Center
- When a student registers for the first semester, they receive a university ID card, which also serves as their health insurance card.
- The student is directed to the Health Center, where an electronic health file is created containing their university information, clinic visits, treatments, and test results.
- Medical examinations are free for students and staff. The physician performs the examination, diagnosis, and provides the required prescription.
- Medications dispensed inside the Health Center are free for students. For prescriptions issued by the university physician, students receive the medication from the university pharmacy.
- If the student's condition requires consultation with a specialist, the Health Center physician refers them to an approved specialist within the insurance network.
- For serious cases, the student is transferred via the Health Center ambulance, accompanied by a paramedic (male for male students, female for female students), to an approved hospital emergency department for treatment or admission depending on the case.
- Non-emergency hospital admissions are arranged through the specialist physician, and the insurance company is notified in advance. Insurance coverage is 90% for all inpatient treatment.
