Mission
The Faculty of Pharmacy seeks to develop teaching and learning methods and tools to keep pace with the latest scientific and professional developments, and to enhance the academic, research, and professional level of faculty and students, while providing a stimulating research environment that contributes to the development of knowledge and community service, and promoting effective engagement in graduate programs to prepare distinguished pharmaceutical cadres capable of meeting the needs of the labor market and society.

About the Faculty
Welcome to the Faculty of Pharmacy at Philadelphia University, which is one of the main faculties at the university in terms of the number of students and faculty members. The Faculty of Pharmacy always aspires to excellence in the field of education and pharmaceutical research, in addition to contributing to the development of pharmaceutical and therapeutic services locally, regionally, and even globally. The faculty seeks to achieve its ambitions by graduating distinguished pharmacists in pharmaceutical practice and healthcare, quality control in laboratories and drug regulation, while at the same time being committed to professional ethics. It also seeks to provide a suitable research environment for conducting various pharmaceutical research and opening up opportunities for graduate studies in pharmaceutical sciences.
Therefore, it has been incumbent upon us at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Philadelphia University to continue developing curricula and study plans that offer a wide spectrum of knowledge areas, professional and personal skills, as well as providing training opportunities for students whether through practical academic courses or through training in pharmacies, hospitals, local pharmaceutical factories, and others. Although the faculty and its programs and curricula are accredited by the Jordanian Higher Education Accreditation Commission, it aspires to achieve a higher degree of quality in its programs according to international standards, and to have these programs accredited by external accreditation bodies.
Since its establishment in 1991, the Faculty of Pharmacy has contributed to graduating many competent pharmacists qualified for professional practice in various pharmaceutical fields such as pharmaceutical industries, which include quality assurance laboratories and research and development laboratories, especially in preparing pharmaceutical formulations, drug regulatory affairs, as well as working in hospitals, community pharmacies, in sales related to pharmaceutical products, and others. The Faculty of Pharmacy currently offers an academic program that requires students to complete 160 credit hours to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. The faculty includes educational laboratories equipped to train students in various fields of pharmaceutical knowledge, including training through a virtual pharmacy. The faculty undertakes to advance the educational/learning level of students through a distinguished faculty covering various related knowledge fields, and laboratories equipped with advanced laboratory equipment necessary for teaching and research purposes. The faculty also aspires to offer a distinguished graduate program in response to society's needs and to develop graduate competencies, in addition to raising the pace of scientific research at Philadelphia University.
The library is stocked with the latest references, books, and journals in Information Technology and English Language and Literature. It provides access to a large number if international journals and libraries through the Internet.
The faculty of Information Technology has state-of-the-art labs, including Sun Work stations and high-standard servers. For this program, the following types of labs are allocated:
Well-equipped language labs are available for the use of students. They can go there regularly or when the need arises to practice their English or to watch plays and films relevant to their field of study. Regular classes take place in well-furnished conference rooms in the part of the building reserved for the Faculty of Arts.
